Lisa Louise Adams will teach a special papermaking class from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at the Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village.

Learn how easy it is to prepare a paper pulp vat, dip a mould and deckle, drain, couch, and dry your sheets. No previous experience is necessary. Adams will guide students on this papermaking journey and share her extensive samples of paper made from local plants and exotic additions.

The cost of the class is $65, $15 materials fee. Class size is limited. Please call to register at 967-8222.
